Kids no longer come home with muddy shoes and stories to tell. Instead, they come home with new TikTok dances and shoes so clean they may as well stay on the shelf.
How can we get kids back outside, connected to nature, and get their shoes dirty?
The Nike Clean Kicks Challenge
A shoe design competition that requires them to integrate outdoor exploration and creation using one of their favorite brands,
The Dirt? They can only use nature.
First, we spread the word about the competition.
Then, our site goes live for kids to register and get access to guides and natural paint tutorials.
We use Geotag notifications on the Nike app to let kids know where to find
cool things in nature and how to leverage them for their designs.
Submissions come in all shapes, styles, and sizes!
